Dean Designs is a small independant business owned and run by Karen Morgan who is herself a dedicated miniaturist with 3 dolls houses, a tea shop and 4 room boxes in her collection to date! Many of the items for sale are made by Karen or members of her family. We also sell hand crafted items from a variety of talented artisans many of which are exclusive to us. Wherever possible we support British Craftspeople.

My name is Karen Morgan and I became hooked on miniatures in 2004 when my husband bought me a dolls house as a surprise present. I had been forced to give up my previous job as Nursing Manager of a children's hospice due to severe arthritis in my spine and I gradually realised that my love of making miniatures could develope into a new career for me. I initially sold items on ebay and when this proved popular I decided to set up my own website. I also regularly attend local dolls house fairs. Over 85% of items on my web site are hand made and I will only sell products that I would happily buy myself for one of my own projects. Karen
